The world needs active global citizens who are engaged in the world, knowledgeable about its diversity and passionate about change. Making a difference requires information and ideas that inspire and motivate the global community to act. We take this call very seriously, and at ECS we believe that as part of a community and global citizens we have a responsibility to act. We want every student to accept the idea that the effects of small actions are not always obvious, but by working together specific and tangible outcomes are achieved.
Learning outside the box

ECS strives to balance the rigorous academic standards that our students can access with outdoor learning. Outdoor learning is much more than fieldtrips and access to the community; outdoor education at ECS is about getting involved and promoting the protection of the ecosystem of our planet Earth through active and hands on learning. Outdoor learning is part of our curricula and as a school we take three overnight trips a year.
